Story

A Cairo-born and raised culinary professional currently based in Lausanne Switzerland. Transitioning from a career in Marketing and Public Relations to pursue a lifelong passion for the culinary arts. In 2017, she relocated to Lyon, France, to attend the prestigious Institut Paul Bocuse, where she earned a Master’s degree in Culinary Arts & Innovation and graduated as valedictorian ("Major de Promotion").
Her professional trajectory includes significant experience in both Research & Development and high-end hospitality, with a portfolio featuring Häagen-Dazs (General Mills), the Fairmont Montreux Palace, the Lausanne Palace, and Bongénie Lausanne.
After seven years of refining her technique in diverse professional kitchens, she has refocused her expertise on her primary mission: introducing authentic Egyptian cuisine to the Swiss landscape. Through a commitment to education and authenticity, she aims to showcase the flavourful, hearty, and historically rich culinary traditions of Egypt to a broader European audience.
